Proudly serving Northwest Nebraska as The Eye Company since 2023, Dr. Jordyn Stevens bought “Northwest Eye Center” from previous providers Dr. Davis and Dr. Dickey. Northwest Eye Center was founded in the early 2000’s and has continued to be one of the leading providers of eye care needs in the panhandle region.
Our experienced doctor and staff regularly diagnose, treat and manage conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes.
The Eye Company’s mission is to make “eye care” and “I care” synonymous.
Meet the Team
Jordyn Stevens, O.D.
Dr. Stevens is a Chadron native who returned home after graduating with honors from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in 2018. Before attending optometry school Dr. Stevens graduated as valedictorian from Chadron High School and worked as an intern at Northwest Eye Center while attending Chadron State College. Dr Stevens provides full scope of optometric care including comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens services, and diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
In her free time, you can find Dr. Stevens at home on the ranch with her significant other, Tom, chasing their 2 cattle dogs, enjoying time with family, including 9 nieces/nephews or curled up with a good book.
Mark Dannar
Mark has been a part of the Chadron optometric community since he started with Northwest Eye Center in 2006. He is involved in several aspects of the practice but his main role is in the selection and fitting of our many glasses frames.
Mark is married to Jodi, who is in charge of the radiology department at Chadron Community Hospital. Mark is kept busy with 5 grandkids, his dogs and loves to spend time outdoors and camping.

Kim Diehl
Kim joined our practice in 2013 after she moved from Wheatland Wyoming, where she worked in a private optometry practice. Kim plays an integral role in our office and fills many duties as our Office Manager. Kim’s true passion in the office is patient care but she can also be found coding and billing insurance.
Kim is married to Robbie, who works for the Dawes County road department. The two are kept busy with their 3 loveable dogs, camping and motocross races.
